Class and Lecture SchedulesWhat factors are considered when determining the class and lecture schedules? Our class and lecture schedules are determined based on a variety of factors, including course requirements, faculty availability, and student needs. We strive to create schedules that are convenient for students and provide ample opportunities for learning and engagement. How is the class and lecture schedule communicated to students? Our class and lecture schedules are carefully planned and communicated to students before the academic year begins. We understand that students need to plan their time effectively and ensure that the schedule is convenient for them. Therefore, we make every effort to provide a schedule that allows for balance between academic commitments and personal obligations. What is the school's policy regarding schedule changes, and how can students communicate their concerns or questions? Please note that we reserve the right to make changes to the schedule due to unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, we will inform students in a timely and transparent manner, and provide alternative arrangements to ensure that students can continue their studies without interruption. We also encourage students to communicate with us if they have any concerns or questions about the schedule, and we will do our best to address their needs and accommodate their requests as far as possible.

Tuition, Payment Plans and Exam FeesHow much does the program tuition cost? The tuition for the year is 3600 euros if paid in full at the beginning of the academic year. If students choose to pay through a payment plan, the tuition is 4000 euros, which is divided into quarterly payments. How are the payments divided under the payment plan? Our payment plan allows students to pay their tuition in quarterly installments. The total tuition for the year is 4000 euros, which is divided into four payments of 1000 euros each. Are there any deadlines for tuition payments? The deadlines for tuition payments are provided at the beginning of each academic year. Students on the payment plan must make their payments on or before the specified due dates, while students who pay in full at the beginning of the year are not subject to additional deadlines. What happens if a student misses a tuition payment? If a student on the payment plan misses a tuition payment, they will receive a notification and a grace period to make the payment. If the payment is not received within the grace period, the student may be subject to late fees and may not be able to continue with their classes until the payment is made. Are scholarships or financial aid available for students? We do offer scholarships and financial aid options for eligible students. Information about these options can be obtained through our main office. What is the refund policy for students who discontinue their studies? Tuition payments are non-refundable except in cases of documented medical or personal emergency. However, if a student decides to discontinue their studies before or on the next day of their mid-term exam, they may be eligible for a 50% refund. Are there any additional exam fees for students? There are no additional exam fees for students beyond the initial tuition cost.

Apprenticeships, Internships and ExternshipsWhat are apprenticeships, internships, and externships? Apprenticeships, internships, and externships are all forms of experiential learning that allow students to gain hands-on experience in their field of study. They provide students with the opportunity to work alongside professionals in their field, apply their classroom knowledge in real-world settings, and gain practical skills and industry contacts. What are the differences between them? The main difference between these three forms of experiential learning is the level of involvement and responsibility that the student has. Apprenticeships are typically longer-term and involve more in-depth training and mentoring, while internships are shorter-term and focus more on providing students with exposure to a particular industry or job function. Externships are usually even shorter and involve shadowing or observing professionals in their field. We offer a range of apprenticeships, internships, and externships in various fields of study. These opportunities are often available through partnerships with industry organizations and businesses, and are typically advertised through our main office. How can individuals find and apply for them? Students can apply for apprenticeships, internships, and externships through our main office, which provides resources and support for students seeking experiential learning opportunities. The application process typically involves submitting a resume and cover letter, and possibly participating in an interview with the employer. What is the duration and pay for participants? It depends on the employer and the specific opportunity. Some employers offer paid apprenticeships, internships, and externships, while others may offer unpaid opportunities in exchange for academic credit or the opportunity to gain valuable experience. Our main office can provide information about the compensation and benefits associated with specific opportunities. The number of hours required for an apprenticeship, internship, or externship varies depending on the specific opportunity and the requirements of the academic program. Our main office can provide information about the expected time commitment for specific opportunities. What role do faculty or staff at the school play in supporting students? Students typically receive support and guidance from both the employer and the academic program during their apprenticeship, internship, or externship. This may include regular check-ins with a mentor or supervisor, as well as academic credit and support from faculty or staff at the school.

Study Material and Required TextbooksWhat materials are included in the courses? Our courses provide a range of study materials, including lecture notes, handouts, readings, and multimedia resources. These materials are designed to support student learning and provide a comprehensive education in Traditional Chinese Medicine. Are textbooks required and how are students notified? Textbooks are required for most courses. We provide a list of required textbooks for each course well in advance, to allow students sufficient time to purchase and familiarize themselves with the materials. Textbooks are an essential part of the learning experience and provide a valuable resource for students to refer to throughout their studies. Who is responsible for selling textbooks and how can students purchase them? Students are responsible for purchasing their own textbooks, as we do not sell books directly. However, we provide a list of required textbooks for each course well in advance, to allow students sufficient time to purchase and familiarize themselves with the materials. Students may purchase textbooks through our recommended online or physical bookstores, or through other sources. We encourage students to purchase their textbooks in a timely manner to ensure they have the correct edition and receive any additional materials or resources that may be included. Can students use secondhand or older editions of textbooks? While we encourage students to purchase new textbooks to ensure they have the correct edition and any additional materials, students may use secondhand or older editions of textbooks as long as they are still relevant and contain the required information. However, students should be aware that there may be differences in content or formatting between editions, which could affect their ability to understand and engage with the course material. What online study materials are available and how can students access them? We provide a range of online study materials, including lecture notes, handouts, and multimedia resources, to support student learning. These materials are accessible through our online learning platform and are designed to complement and enhance the in-person learning experience.

Clinical observation and PracticeHow important is clinical practice in the program? Clinical observation and practice is a vital component of our Traditional Chinese Medicine program. It involves students observing and participating in clinical treatments under the supervision of experienced practitioners, in order to gain practical experience and develop their clinical skills. When and where do clinical sessions take place? Students begin clinical observation and practice from their first year of the program, and continue throughout their studies. Clinical observation and practice sessions take place in multiple student clinics, as well as through online case study classes. These clinics and classes provide students with the opportunity to observe and participate in real clinical treatments, under the guidance and supervision of experienced practitioners. How many hours are required? The number of clinical observation and practice hours required varies depending on the program and jurisdiction. However, we ensure that all students complete the minimum number of required clinical observation and practice hours in order to meet licensing and certification requirements. What should students expect during clinical observation and practice, and what is the dress code? During clinical observation and practice, students can expect to observe and participate in clinical treatments, under the guidance and supervision of experienced practitioners. This may involve taking patient histories, performing physical exams, diagnosing conditions, and developing treatment plans. Students will also have the opportunity to observe and learn from other practitioners in the clinic, and to receive feedback and guidance on their clinical skills. Students are required to dress in professional attire when participating in clinical observation and practice, as outlined in the clinical guidelines given to them at the beginning of the academic year. This may include wearing clean, comfortable clothing, closed-toe shoes, and a lab coat or other appropriate attire. What guidelines must be followed, and what are the consequences of not following them? Students are required to follow all clinical guidelines and protocols given to them at the beginning of the academic year, including guidelines related to patient confidentiality, hygiene, and safety. Students who fail to follow these guidelines may be prohibited from participating in clinical observation and practice.

Attendance and Study Load ExpectationsWhat is the attendance policy at this school, and what is the minimum requirement? Students are expected to attend all classes and maintain a minimum attendance rate of 80% for each course. This is in line with our commitment to providing quality education and ensuring that students receive the necessary guidance and support to succeed in their studies. What are the potential academic penalties for students who miss too many classes or fall below the minimum attendance requirement? If a student misses too many classes and falls below the minimum attendance requirement of 80%, they may face academic penalties such as receiving a failing grade for the course or being barred from taking the final exam. Additionally, repeated absences may lead to disciplinary action, which could impact the student's academic standing and future enrollment at our school. What is the workload for students in this program, and what activities are necessary to succeed? Students should expect a study load that is commensurate with a Bachelor level program. Our programs are designed to provide a comprehensive education in Traditional Chinese Medicine, which includes both theoretical and practical components. As such, students are expected to dedicate a significant amount of time and effort to their studies, including attending classes, participating in discussions, completing assignments, and engaging in clinical practice. While the workload can be challenging, it is intended to prepare students for successful careers in TCM and ensure that they receive a high-quality education.

Language of Instruction and CommunicationWhat language is used in EIIHS and what are the benefits? Our school is a TCM (Traditional Chinese Medicine) school that teaches in English. Therefore, the language of communication in our school is English. All interactions, including those between students and teachers, as well as among students themselves, are conducted in English. This creates an environment where English language skills are emphasized and students have the opportunity to improve their fluency and comprehension in the language while learning TCM. It also enables access to a wider range of learning materials and resources in English, which can help students develop a global perspective and prepare for future academic and professional endeavors in an increasingly interconnected world.
